Recommendation to use Moodle Quiz for online exams from 2025

CADI along with faculty Heads are making a strong recommendation that all online exams moving forward use Moodle Quiz instead of Wiseflow.

Moodle Templates for Connected Curriculum

CADI colleagues are leading a project to design Moodle templates to support the Connected Curriculum. We are currently designing templates before piloting on duplicate TB1 modules.

Moodle Cloud Update 

Our new Moodle environment is ready and available to staff and students. 
 
The CADI and IS teams recently completed a significant once in a decade activity to migrate our Moodle environment to a cloud environment supported by Catalyst IT Europe.

Moodle Cloud Migration - "Cut-Over Week"

Migration status of modules for 2025/26

The migration of our Moodle environment to a cloud supplier (Catalyst IT Europe) is progressing well.  

Over 75% of TB1 and year-long modules for 2025/26 have been successfully migrated to our new cloud-based Moodle environment. Once your module has been successfully migrated, a pink banner will appear at the top of your current Moodle module with a link to your new cloud-based module.

Reduced scope for Wiseflow in upcoming academic year

The decision has been made to limit Wiseflow’s rollout in 2025/26 to specific assessment scenarios.
