Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce that the call for submissions for this year’s event is now open. The conference theme - Teach Well, Consistently Well - invites colleagues to share practice, insight and innovation that contributes to high-quality, inclusive and student-focused learning and teaching.

We welcome submissions that capture the spirit of this theme through thoughtful pedagogic design, meaningful student engagement, inclusive practice and effective use of learning environments - whether in person or online, synchronous or asynchronous. Contributions can draw on research, professional experience and student partnership to inform and enhance practice.

Submissions are welcome across a number of thematic areas including (but not limited to): learning design, student engagement, gamification, assessment and feedback, AI, student support and guidance, equality, diversity and inclusion, digital technologies, education for sustainable development and employability and enterprise.

Submissions are welcome from all University staff and our collaborative partners. Submissions co-authored (and ideally co-facilitated) with students will be particularly welcome.

The conference will take place on Thursday 25th June.

Submission Format:

Papers: Papers: 30 mins, including no more than 20 minutes of presentation describing and exploring research and evaluating policy and or practice, with at least 5 minutes of questions and discussion/exploration. Your presentation should focus on the lessons you have learned and how your practice can be applied to other contexts. Interactive sessions, that integrate discussion with presentation rather than presentation followed by Q&A, are preferred.

Deadline for proposals is 5.00pm on Tuesday 31st March 2026.
