We would like to invite colleagues to save the date for our Learning and Teaching Conference
This year’s conference offers a full day of insightful and thought-provoking sessions, providing a valuable opportunity for colleagues to connect, share effective practice, and explore innovative approaches that enhance high quality, inclusive and student-centred learning and teaching.
Our theme for 2026 is Teach Well for Connected Curriculum Success. This reflects our ongoing commitment to the continuous development of pedagogical excellence across our institution.
We are delighted to welcome Chris Powis from the University of Northampton as our external keynote speaker. Chris leads Library and Learning Services at Northampton, encompassing university-wide learning technology support, and the delivery of academic, information and digital skills. His keynote address will explore key opportunities and challenges in these areas, with relevance to our own strategic priorities.
The programme for the day will be structured around four thematic strands central to Teach Well for Connected Curriculum Success:
- Awarding Gaps
- Assessment
- Artificial Intelligence
- Innovation in Practice
