30 credits at Level 7 | Advance HE Fellow (D2)

Module 2 builds on the foundations established in Module 1, moving from developing effective practice towards critically examining, evaluating and enhancing it.

Through scholarship, inquiry, reflection and collaboration, you will explore themes including professional identity, quality in higher education, student engagement, inclusivity and belonging, and the reach, value and impact of your practice.

At the heart of the module is your Learning and Teaching Enhancement Project (LTEP). You will identify an aspect of your own practice that you would like to understand, develop or improve, use scholarship and evidence to inform a purposeful enhancement, and evaluate its effectiveness and impact.

The module continues to be highly interactive and collaborative and you will learn alongside colleagues from across the University and be paired with a CADI mentor to support your development.

Module 2 has specific entry requirements relating to your current and recent teaching and/or support for learning practice. See our FAQs for full details.

You will share your LTEP through a poster presentation and oral defence and take part in a professional conversation, drawing on examples from across your current and recent practice to demonstrate the breadth and depth required for Fellow (D2).

Together with Module 1, you will achieve:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education – 60 credits at Level 7
  • Advance HE Fellow (Descriptor 2)
