Keita Vebera
Digital Learning Developer
Keita has been with the University of Portsmouth since joining as a student. In 2024, she began her career in Student Service Delivery as an IT Help Adviser, providing face-to-face technical support to students and, occasionally, staff across a range of issues.
Alongside her role, she completed a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering. Her final-year project involved developing an application prototype for animal shelters that matches animals with potential adopters based on their traits and lifestyle compatibility.
Another notable project includes working with the Royal Navy Hydrographic Surveying Unit in a consultancy capacity, where she contributed to addressing software underutilisation and compatibility challenges.
After completing her degree, Keita progressed into a Digital Learning Developer role, where she continues to support and enhance learning and teaching at the University of Portsmouth through technology.
Her current interests include:
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving in technical environments
- App and software development
- Supporting learning and teaching through digital technologies
- Improving student learning experience
