April has worked in education for more than 15 years and is dedicated to helping students succeed both academically and personally. Having previously worked as a primary school teacher, April understands the importance of adapting support to meet individual needs and ensuring that every learner feels included and valued. She is passionate about equality, diversity, and inclusion, and believes that all students should have access to the tools and support they need to thrive. April is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all students and is particularly keen to support LGBT+ students in feeling seen, respected, and empowered throughout their academic journey. One of the most rewarding aspects of her role is helping students gain confidence in their writing, develop their academic skills, and realise their full potential.
