Events and Services

The Centre for Academic and Digital Innovation (CADI) was established as part of the RESET process to bring together expertise into one central team. Our aim is to ensure a smooth, supportive, and innovative experience for staff and students across the University of Portsmouth.

On the digital side of CADI (see our team structure), we are responsible for maintaining the integrity, stability, security and functionality of Moodle and its integrated systems. Beyond this, our role is to drive innovation, foster collaboration with teaching staff and enhance the student learning experience.

We are also dedicated to supporting staff development and practice through a wide range of services: from media production, design and development, consultancy to CPD workshops and tailored events. These opportunities are designed to help staff at the University of Portsmouth develop their skills, share ideas, and deliver teaching excellence.

Our focus is to work alongside academics, providing practical tools, resources and guidance so that they can continue to offer outstanding learning experiences.
