The CADI team recently launched the first phase of the Centre’s new website.
The new CADI site is primarily aimed at university staff and provides information and guidance on a range of topics and areas of focus, such as Moodle, Assessment and Feedback, Fellowship Pathways, enABLe, TESTA, Teach Well and different forms of CPD.
It features information about CADI’s plans and priorities, the structure of the new Centre and the faces that make up the new CADI team. The full site will be developed over the coming months to provide a comprehensive resource to support academic and digital innovation.
Staff can check out the new CADI site at cadi.port.ac.uk and join our Centre LinkedIn page to find out all the latest news from the team.
What is CADI?
The Centre for Academic and Digital Innovation (CADI) is a newly structured and centralised team at the University. Formed from the Academic Development, Learning Design and Technology-Enhanced Learning teams across the University, CADI’s remit is to promote innovation and provide academic and digital support in learning, teaching and assessment across the Portsmouth and London campuses and for our collaborative partners, in line with the University’s priorities.
CADI’s aims are:
- Support staff to Teach Well, Consistently Well – every session, every time, for every student
- Become a national and international reference point in advancing innovation and effectiveness in teaching, learning and assessment
CADI brings together a collective of experienced Academic Developers, Digital Project Specialist (DPS), Digital Learning Developers (DLD) and Learning Designers (LD), under the leadership of Professor Anne Murphy (DVC Education), Professor Ale Armellini (Dean of Digital and Distributed Learning) and Dr Andy Clegg (Head of Academic Innovation).
